Walkman minidisk

Used for location recordings of ambient noise, sea, sheep and horses. Character audio development was recorded on the Dictaphone of a Nokia 6120 and compiled together in Garageband. Garageband was also used for the final audio recordings with the foley and mixing happening in Logic Audio.




Takamine LTD97 acoustic guitar

1997 limited edition Takamine electro-acoustic, albeit strung with nylon strings instead of steel.

Recorded directly through a Trace Elliot TAP1 pre-amp (panned left) and a Baby Blue microphone (panned right)


SONY VAIO laptop

Although primarily used for animation and backgrounds, the VAIO has also been used for recording music via an E-MU1616 breakout box and Cubase.

Apple (Mac Mini, G5(PP),

Macbook Pro, Garageband, Logic Audio, iWeb, iTunes, Quicktime)

Foley recording was undertaken on the Mac Mini into Logic Audio through an Apogee Duet.

The original audio recordings were created onto the G5.

The Audio was finally cleaned and mixed using Logic Audio on the Macbook Pro ready to be placed into Premier.
